According to Greener Ideal, for every six plastic bottles bought, five eventually end up in the landfill or in the ocean. Plastic takes hundreds of years to decompose, ending up inside animals’ stomachs and leaching toxins like BPA and phthalates into the environment in the meantime. Not only that, but did you know that each plastic bottle uses a quarter of the bottle’s volume worth in crude oil to manufacture? Talk about an environmental nightmare!
As we learn more about the impact of these choices, we can make steps toward conserving resources and protecting our environment. Stop wasting your money and throwing away all that plastic! Switching to reusable bottles is an easy change to make, and one that pays off in both the short-term and the long-term.
This holiday season, give a gift that also gives back to the planet! Help someone make the switch with an eco-friendly stainless steel insulated bottle from Futurepace Tech.
