Well, you know it had to happen! This holiday season, Build-A-Bear Workshop is featuring a new exclusive collection of friends from Disney’s Frozen. Introducing Elsa, Anna, and Olaf!
Like just about every other little girl in North America right now, my daughters are huge Frozen fans. They dressed up as Elsa and Anna for Halloween, and their roles are pretty much set in stone with big sister Tee as Elsa, and little sister Kay as Anna. (Do you see the resemblance?)
So of course I was excited to receive Build-A-Bear Workshop’s new Anna “Princess of Arendelle” Bear for review, complete with Anna wig, outfit, shoes, and a music clip of “For the First Time in Forever” that plays when you squeeze her paw.
I love all the details in this Anna Bear. Her soft lavender fur is shot through with copper metallic threads for a subtle shimmer. She wears the same outfit that Anna wears in the movie when she goes searching for Elsa. The cape is separate from the dress and fastens shut with Velcro.
Look closely and you can see the strand of white hair in her braid from when Elsa accidentally hit her with a blast of ice magic as a child.
Under her cute miniature black patent heels, Anna has the Disney Frozen logo on one foot and her name on the other.
Anna is the perfect friend for Kay! Build-A-Bear did such a great job on Anna that we had to go out and get the matching Elsa “Ice Queen” Bear for Tee. I love how Frozen celebrates the sisterly bond, and I know my two girls will be over the moon to find these beary special sisters waiting for them in their signature Build-A-Bear boxes under the tree.

Build-A-Bear will match each donation with a Build-A-Bear Workshop furry friend (up to 20,000 toys)! You can also make a monetary donation at checkout in stores and online through December 31.
