School’s almost out for summer, and if you’re anything like me, you ‘re already dreading the inevitable complaints of boredom. That’s why we’re big fans of summer camp!
North Vancouver-based Zen Maker Lab has been providing kids in the Lower Mainland with engaging content related to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) since 2013. This summer they’re offering week-long STEAM summer camps for kids ages 7-16 filled with interactive games and take-home projects for a fun, engaging, and educational experience they’ll never forget.
Zen Maker Lab programs focus on quality STEAM education and exciting, innovative hands-on programs to get kids designing, making, and playing.
A wide variety of themed summer camps will have your child learning to code, building their own night light, designing a catapult, learning the art of 3D design and printing, making an electric piano or LED clock, create a short film, designing and building a robot, learning web design and development, or even developing their own virtual reality game.
All camps are supported by expert instructors and co-ops from recognized universities, along with a top-tier Maker Lab with a laser cutter, a UV printer, sticker and poster machine, over forty 3D printers, and more. Kids will take home items such as projects competed in class, tote bag with swag, fun 3D printed items, and a progress booklet.
