Slow Cooker Spice Rub Pork Roast

Ingredients

gluten-free Worcestershire sauce

garlic powder

teaspoon
ginger powder
1
teaspoon
ground sage
1
teaspoon
fresh ground black pepper

teaspoon
chili powder

brown sugar

water
Instructions
Pour Worcestershire sauce over top and sides of roast.
Mix up garlic powder, ginger powder, ground sage, black pepper, and chili powder in a small dish to make your spice mix.
Sprinkle spice mix evenly over top and sides of roast. Use fingers to rub spice mix into the meat.
Sprinkle brown sugar over top of spiced roast.
Carefully add water to crock pot, being careful not to rinse off spices or brown sugar.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Notes
Omit the brown sugar and use homemade paleo Worcestershire sauce (link above) to make this recipe Whole30 compliant.
