When Tee was a toddler, I caught her dreaming about apples on more than one occasion. As she was napping next to me, I’d hear her stir and whisper, “Apple, apple, apple,” in her sleep. These days, Kay chants, “Ap-ple! Ap-ple!” whenever I ask her what she wants for an afternoon snack. Clearly both my girls are apple fiends, so we’re always on the lookout for apple recipes.
Luckily, around here fall means apples! Red or green or golden, tart or sweet, firm and crisp. This week I’m rounding up gluten-free recipes featuring that jewel of the fall harvest, the apple.
