I’ve been in the market for a budget-friendly graphics tablet, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to test Yabbly’s guarantee of an answer within 24 hours, as well as to see what kind of answers I’d get. Here’s the question I posted:
Best graphics tablet on a budget?
I’m looking for a decent graphics tablet to do basic Photoshopping and drawing. I’d like something bigger than a postcard (prefer at least 7×5 drawing surface, bigger would be better) and under $150 if possible. Is there anything like that out there?
Yabbly questions are moderated, presumably to check for any inappropriate content. I submitted my question at 10 pm Pacific Time, and less than an hour later, my post was up. At 10 pm Friday night! Somebody was up working late!
I got a reply to my question less than 12 hours later. And it wasn’t a one sentence reply, or just an Amazon link. The Yabbly member who answered my question took the time to really answer it. She recommended a particular brand and model that fell within the budget I specified. She outlined a couple of good reasons for picking that brand and suggested the option of getting an older or refurbished model to get more features for my dollar. She also shared her own experience working with a couple of different sized tablets to support her recommendation of a 9″ x 6″ tablet.
I was really happy with the quality and promptness of the reply I got. I would definitely use Yabbly again, and I’m going to check out the graphics tablet that the member recommended to me!

I learned that the site will improve with ‘age’ (as more people are available to respond to questions. HOWEVER I did not learn how to ask a question. Presumably that is my fault but it increases the time on the learning curve.
I love the parental support that happens in the family section. I had no idea it existed!
