Entertainment Giveaways West Coast

Win a Pair of Tickets to Disney’s The Lion King in Vancouver! {Giveaway Closed}

I’ve been kind of stressed out lately. It seems like there’s always something more to do, more items on my to do list, more dishes, more laundry, just… MORE! And don’t even get me started on taxes. (Actually, scratch that. Someone please get me started – there’s only a week left!) But sometimes we just need to set our worries aside for a bit and take a breather. You know, hakuna matata!

I was pretty excited to hear that Broadway’s award-winning Best Musical The Lion King is on its way back to Vancouver this summer! Taking an evening off from all my daily worries to enjoy this award-winning musical is just what I need. Who can resist the familiar songs and rhythmic music, the fantastical costumes, the epic story?

I’m excited about welcoming Simba, Mufasa, Rafiki, the hyenas, and even Scar back. And why yes, I do have a soft spot in my heart for Timon and Pumbaa, those carefree besties who remind all of us to hakuna matata, at least once in a while.

Did you know The Lion King has played in 19 countries on every continent except Antarctica? Here’s a little taste of why this remains one of the most popular stage musicals in the world, even into its 18th year.

Disney’s The Lion King will be playing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Downtown Vancouver from June 18 through to July 12, 2015. Ticket prices start at just $35. Buy your tickets at Ticketmaster or by calling 1-855-985-5000.
