School’s out and Christmas is almost here! Since COVID restrictions shut down almost all of Vancouver’s holiday events and displays last year, we’ve been making up for lost time in 2021. There’s still time to visit these dazzling holiday light displays in Vancouver, Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley, and North Vancouver that will help get you and your whole family into the holiday spirit!

** Note that most paid events require proof of vaccination for all guests born in 2009 or earlier.

Vancouver

Festival of Lights at VanDusen Garden

Festival of Lights
VanDusen Garden transforms into a magical winter wonderland with more than one million lights decorating 15 acres. Stroll along the lakeside, shimmering in the glow of northern lights, or wander into the lush Rose Garden reawakened and illuminated for a spectacular winter replica through the artistry of VanDusen’s garden stewards.

PNE WinterLights
Dazzling drive-through experience through nine enchanted lands filled with glowing lights, special characters, and festive performers. Food trucks along the way and at the end of the drive.

Vancouver Christmas Market at Jack Poole Plaza

Vancouver Christmas Market
Delight in German-style food and drinks, hop on the Christmas carousel, and stroll through a wonderland of holiday shopping, music, and lights.

Bright Nights at Stanley Park
The Bright Nights train will once again be sounding its whistle and chugging through the sparkling magically-lit forest of Stanley Park this Christmas. Kids of all ages can sing along to their favourite carols as they take in the whimsical displays along the ride.

Lights at Lafarge Lake

Lights at Lafarge
The biggest free lights display in Metro Vancouver! Almost half a million lights and dozens of unique displays light up the 1.2 kilometer walking trail around Lafarge Lake along with a second walking loop through the Inspiration Garden.

Lumagica at Cloverdale Fairgrounds

The one kilometer walk through the Fairgrounds features over 120 light features and ornaments. Walk through the light tunnel to Gingerbread Lane which leads to the indoor North Pole Village. Soak up the magical atmosphere with interactive displays, animation, photo opportunities, treats, live entertainment, holiday shopping, and surprises galore for all ages.
