The Real Food Good-Better-Best Principle #Infographic

I wanted to share with you this fantastic infographic I discovered over at Weed ‘Em and Reap. (Thank you, DaNelle, for giving me permission to share this with my readers.) Other than the row about grains (because from my paleo perspective, best would be no grains at all), I wholeheartedly agree with this take on eating real food.

When I posted about eating paleo last month, some readers pointed out that a paleo and/or local diet could be too expensive for many people. It’s very true that the vast majority of us are faced with decisions every day about how to best spend our pay cheques. I like this graphic because it provides practical information that can help us to prioritize how to spend our food dollars. The Good-Better-Best Principle reminds us that eating real food is not an all or nothing proposition. Do the best you can with what you have!
