Have you seen the new Honey Girls at Build-A-Bear Workshop yet? My girls have fallen in love with this line of cool pop star characters.
First, a little back story. These three best friends met in school and decided to form a band together. TEEGAN is the fearless and bold lead singer. (My own Tee has claimed this cool purple cat with the removable microphone as her special friend!) Pink bunny and guitarist RISA is all about music and creativity. And VIV, the blue bear, is the drummer. She’s a great friend and a talented inventor.
I picked a quiet day to introduce the Honey Girls at my house. Things were a little slow, and Tee was complaining of being bored. I got her to set up a tea party for three mystery guests and surprised her with a cute and fluffy trio of pop stars for tea. Look at the size of that smile when she opens her eyes and sees them for the first time!
No more boredom here! Looks like the tea party was a hit, and Tee made a new friend!
Kids can customize their Honey Girls character with a special plush star they stuff inside during the Build-A-Bear heart ceremony. Each star represents a positive character trait – kids can pick from creative, confident, talented, smart, fearless, and strong. The microphone, guitar, and drum all have sound chips, and each character has her own special song original to her. Each Honey Girl travels home with you in a specially designed Cub Condo that can be transformed into a stage for your child to put on their own concerts!
