Stephen Joseph: 6 Gift Ideas for Preschoolers #TWCMgifts

When it comes to gift shopping, I suppose you could drive from store to store and spend hours searching multiple websites. Or you could save yourself time and aggravation by browsing a one stop gift shop like Stephen Joseph instead. With a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old at home (so you know I’ve got some cred), I’ve gone through Stephen Joseph’s huge selection of children’s gifts and gear and put together this round up of gift ideas for preschoolers, all available in one place for your shopping convenience!

6 Gift Ideas for Preschoolers from Stephen Joseph

Bifold Wallet for Preschoolers ($8.50)

This year we started giving Tee a weekly allowance. What better place to keep her new found riches and practice responsible spending than this cute bifold wallet? It has a coin pocket and a mesh pocket to keep her money and play cards safe. It measures 7″ x 4.5″ when open and fits dollar bills perfectly. There are 32 cute and clever designs, so you’re guaranteed to find one (if not several!) that your child will fall in love with.

Metal Memo Board ($16.50)

Tee has a love affair with Scotch tape. Not only does she firmly believe that everything can be fixed with a liberal application of tape (including books, toys, and broken DVDs), but she loves to use this magical substance to stick papers and notes to her bedroom door and her walls. I, on the other hand, do not like Scotch tape on the walls, so a magnetic memo board like this one is a much better option.

Stephen Joseph has four designs available, and each memo board comes with a coordinating ribbon to hang on the wall or doorknob.

Cook Set ($23.90)

If your kids are anything like my kids, they love to cook and bake with you. This miniature cooking playset is a wonderful gift for any wanna be chef, with a machine-washable quilted cotton oven mitt, a dishwasher-safe melamine bowl, a wooden spoon, and rolling pin, all perfectly sized for toddlers.

The cook set comes in cupcakes, fox, and owl designs, and a special Christmas edition gingerbread design too.

Hooded Towel ($25.90)

Getting out of the tub is always the worst part of a bath for my kiddos. Especially in the winter, they just don’t want to get out of the warm water, and who can blame them? But this generously sized 100% cotton mermaid hooded towel makes bath time just a little more fun. Kay loves pretending to be a mermaid, and in this towel she finally has the long brown hair she’s been craving. With a large hood, pink mermaid tail, and a pink shell embellishment on the front, any little girl will feel magical!

Stephen Joseph hooded towels are approximately 46″ x 23.5″ and come in nine adorable designs: butterfly, mermaid, pirate, crab, dolphin, seahorse, fish, alligator, and shark. You can even have it personalized for an extra special gift.

Wooden Step Stool ($35.95)

Little people need a little help getting up to the sink and faucet. We’ve gone through multiple step stools over the years, always looking for one that is sturdy enough for my two boisterous girls (who insist on climbing up together) and decorative enough to leave out all the time. This wooden step stool from Stephen Joseph is perfect for us. It’s strong enough for even me to stand on, and it coordinates with the pink and green owl soap dispenser in the girls’ bathroom.

These sturdy little step stools also come in shark and monkey designs, and they can be personalized for an extra $10.00.

Signature Backpack ($27.90)

Stephen Joseph specializes in backpacks and bags. It was really hard to pick just one from the over 150 bags in their catalogue, but I finally selected this Signature quilted backpack decorated with mixed fabrics, beads, and buttons. At 13” x 13.5” x 4″, it’s one of their larger backpacks, and it has a cinch-style closure, flap with a magnetic catch, carry handle, and thin adjustable straps. It’s not ideal for heavy loads, but it’s perfect for my preschooler who carries her sweater, her water bottle, and maybe a small snack in there.
