Show Off Your Summer Memories on a Nixplay Seed Digital Frame

Happy birthday, Canada!

This is one of my favourite classic photos of Tee and Kay, celebrating Canada Day at our backyard barbecue three years ago. Oh my goodness, how much they’ve grown since then!

School’s out, summer is here, and we plan on spending as much time as we can outside enjoying the sunshine and going on family adventures. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be taking tons of pictures of all the summer fun. I have literally thousands and thousands of pictures on my phone, but what’s the point in having a camera roll full of photos that nobody ever sees?

I want to show off our pictures! That’s why I’m such a fan of our new 13″ Nixplay Seed digital frame. I can display all my favourite photos and family memories in one place for us and our guests to enjoy. Our photos look fabulous on the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio 1920 x 1080 HD screen resolution IPS display, and it even plays videos up to 15 seconds in length.

I love how ridiculously easy it is to add photos to the Nixplay Seed frame while you’re on the go. You can send your pictures directly to the frame wirelessly through the app or even via email. No need to sideload photos or fiddle with a USB drive.

That means while you’re out enjoying your Canada Day barbecue or watching the fireworks, you can send your memories straight to your own frame at home or at work, or send them to the grandparents or family members anywhere in the world. Imagine their delight when their digital frame automatically updates with up-to-the-minute pictures of the grandkids and family events as they happen!

Our Nixplay Seed digital frame was surprisingly easy to set up. I just followed the prompts on the screen and I was able to start displaying our photos literally 5 minutes out of the box, including downloading the Nixplay mobile app (available on Android and iOs). The simple step-by-step directions make it easy enough for even the most technologically-challenged grandparents to get it working.

Nixplay Seed frames are remarkably customizable. Set the time interval between photos anywhere from 5 seconds to one hour. Select what kind of transition you want between photos. Decide whether to display the time and date. Add optional captions for your pictures.

The frame comes with its own remote control, but if you’re the kind of person who loses remotes (not that I would know anything about that), the app also comes with a virtual remote so it’s always at the tip of your fingers.

There’s a motion sensor embedded in the frame so it turns on and off automatically when someone enters or leaves the room. You can also set the automatic timer so you don’t waste electricity when nobody’s there to enjoy your pictures.

Speaking of power, the reinforced power cord doubles as a stand to display the Nixplay Seed frame horizontally (landscape) or vertically (portrait). Unfortunately, that means the frame doesn’t hang on the wall, but since that power cord hangs down, it looks better on your shelf, occasional table, or sofa table anyway.

The app is the easiest way to create photo playlists straight from your phone’s camera feed and send them to up to five different photo frames, but you can also share your photos from Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, Flickr, and Google Photos, or upload them securely to Nixplay’s online cloud storage. Nixplay Seed frames even work with Alexa!
