This was my very first Mother’s Day, five years ago, with a tiny Tee balanced on my knee and Kay not even a twinkle in her Daddy’s eye yet.
This year my girls are five and two, and Kay is old enough to understand and get excited about the occasion. The girls have been making cards and drawing pictures all week, practicing for the big day.
Happy Mother’s Day to you
Happy Mother’s Day, dear Mommy,
Happy Mother’s Day to you!
(Kay was just a little shy.)
And my very special Mother’s Day cup of tea.
Today my plan is just to enjoy my family. A visit to the park, Thai food for dinner, and some ice cream sounds like a perfect day to me.
Happy Mother’s Day to you, to me, to all of us mothers. To stepmothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, godmothers, grandmothers, mothers of babies born sleeping or who were never born at all, mothers that were, and mothers to be.
That was beautiful. Thanks Olivia. Hope you have a wonderful day! 🙂
Beautiful pictures! Happy belated Mother’s Day to you! We had lasagna at my parents’ house. It was a nice dinner.
Happy Mother’s Day to you!
Sounds like you had a Wonderful Mother’s Day!!! your girls are so adorable, love the tea party!
