Nothing brings more joy, satisfaction, and warm fuzzy feelings than being a mom. It’s the best thing that ever happened to you, right?
Let’s be real. Motherhood is also demanding, exhausting, and infuriating. Being a mom is both the best and the worst, all on the same day.
Moms are notoriously hard to shop for, I guess because they don’t sell a good night’s sleep or an uninterrupted bath on Amazon. (Seriously, Jeff Bezos, get on this already.) Sure jewelry and flowers are nice, but the gift ideas on this list are for us stressed out, overworked, underpaid, and exhausted moms who’ve had enough.
1. Mama Needs a Mother F*cking Nap: A Sweary Coloring Book for Mom
Colouring is meditative, right? Meditate on this.
Coffee is life.
3. “Tired as a Mother” T-shirt
This doesn’t really need an explanation, does it? The tee pairs perfectly with your favourite yoga pants and a ponytail.
4. Relaxing Mama Stress-Reducing Tea
It says right there on the tin: “Helps to reduce stress and can temporarily alleviate the burden of mommydom.” What a great gift for any stressed out mom you know. Drop a shot of bourbon in there and I bet it works even better!
When the kids are making magic potions in the bathtub (true story) or “decorating” the dog for Christmas (also a true story), there’s nothing to say but WTF?!
Mom could use a little relaxation. This pretty beach tote lets her take her favourite “mommy juice” to the beach, the pool, or that Friday night PTA meeting she couldn’t get out of.

A hammock makes an amazing and not at all sarcastic gift for Mom. It says, “Put your feet up and take a break, Mom. We love and appreciate you. Oh, and what’s for dinner?”

I loved the bathroom cartoon. I remember having to leave the door open when my son was little & the fingers under the door when someone was home to watch him. No such thing as complete privacy most of the time. Never thought I would ever miss those days but I do. Now he is waiting for his baby to be born in June! So excited!!
