Even if you haven’t seen Frozen II yet, you probably already know this movie is a BIG DEAL. Set three years after the events of the first movie, the story follows Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven on a journey beyond their kingdom of Arendelle in order to discover the origin of Elsa’s magical powers and save the kingdom.
Since its release three weeks ago, Frozen fever has struck again, breaking box office records and, as of December 14th, earning more than a billion dollars worldwide!
Of course along with the movie comes the toys! Hasbro sent us this surprise #FrozenFanFest box of the newest and coolest Frozen II toys and games to check out.
Wondering what’s in the box?
Let’s take a look!
First we found a collection of 12″ fashion dolls in their Frozen II outfits. This Sister Styles Elsa doll has extra long, silky hair for lots of fun hair play. Brush it, braid it, create all sorts of hairstyles. Elsa comes with a wide-toothed comb, 2 hair clips, hair hook, and a hair-braiding machine (no batteries required).
It wouldn’t be a Frozen movie without the music, so it makes sense that Hasbro has musical dolls too. When you press their chests, the Singing Elsa doll plays a short phrase from “Into the Unknown,” and the Singing Anna doll plays “The Next Right Thing”.
Next we found Arendelle Fashions Anna and Arendelle Fashions Elsa. Both dolls came dressed in their nightgowns from the movie plus a second outfit for daytime. Mattias (King Runeard’s lieutenant and Prince Agnarr’s official guard) is dressed in his uniform from the movie.
And then came two really nice figure sets. The Elsa and the Nokk set includes Elsa in a movie outfit and Nokk, a horse-shaped elemental water spirit. The impressive Sledding Adventures set comes with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, Sven, and a wagon with wheels that turn (even though they call it a sled).
For lovers of small things, this Adventure Collection of small dolls includes Sven, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and a Gale wind figurine. Adult figures in this scale are approximately 4″ tall and perfectly pocket-sized.
Made in the same scale, this Family Set include Queen Iduna, Elsa and Anna as young children, and Olaf from the flashback scene. We also found a Honeymaren small doll, a new character from the Northuldra.
Hasbro went even smaller with their Pop Adventures mini play sets and figures. Elsa’s Bedroom Pop-Up Play Set comes with a miniature 2.25″ Elsa figure, diary, chair, blanket, and a big key that pops open the travel-sized play set. Each blue crystal Pop Adventures Blind Box contains one surprise Frozen figure in the same scale. These would make fantastic stocking stuffers!
Got a Play-Doh fan? This Play-Doh Mysteries Snow Globe Playset box contains four small one-ounce containers of light green, pale blue, red, and purple Play-Doh, one larger two-ounce container of white Play-Doh, six plastic Frozen II character molds, cutting tool, and a snow globe. Place Elsa inside the snow globe, load it with Play-Doh, and twist the top to make it snow. The base of the snow globe can also be used to mold some more characters and designs from the movie.
And finally, we found fun Frozen-themed versions of some favourite family games incuding Monopoly Game: Disney Frozen II Edition and a wisecracking Frozen Olaf Bop-it you can bop, twist, and pull.
Trouble: Olaf’s Ice Adventure is a cross between two classic games: Trouble and Ice Cube. Make your own frozen Olaf pieces in the included silicone mold, and pop the Pop-O-Matic bubble to determine the number of spaces your Olaf moves around the board. On each turn, players also try to melt opponents’ pieces by “hugging” them in your hands, sprinkling salt, or pouring water over them. The player with the last Olaf to melt wins!
So there you have it! We loved checking out the new Hasbro toys in this #FrozenFanFest box and all these ice-tastic gift ideas for your young Frozen fan this holiday. Does anything here catch your eye? Let me know!
