9 Eco-Friendlier Holiday Crafts for Kids

The holidays are coming on fast, and making crafts is part of the tradition for many families. Gathering around the craft table and creating fun holiday projects and Christmas decorations is definitely one of my family’s favourite things to do during the holidays. It gives us an opportunity to enjoy a delicious mug of homemade dairy-free hot chocolate and create fun memories that can be enjoyed year after year.

But when it comes to holiday crafts, we may not always consider their impact on the environment. Fortunately there are lots of greener and environmentally-aware crafts out there perfect for the holidays. I’ve put together this fun list of eco-friendlier holiday crafts your entire family can enjoy making together.

Whether you upcycle something already within your home, use found items, or simply choose environmentally-friendly supplies, there’s something here for everyone to make this holiday season. I hope that you enjoy making some of these with your family this year!
