The Original Christmas Classics: Anniversary Collector’s Edition Gift Set {With Free Printables}

Original Christmas Classics Anniversary Collector's Edition

Every family has holiday traditions. When I was a kid, I looked forward to picking out our tree and going to a performance of Handel’s Sing-Along Messiah with my dad. With my own family now, our traditions include visiting North Pole BC, decorating the tree, holiday crafts and baking, and visiting the Christmas lights displays in our neighbourhood.

And then there are certain movies that must be watched. No matter the busy, full-to-bursting, harried weeks leading up to the big day, we make time to watch these. For more than 45 years, Rankin-Bass animated holiday specials have been a part of many families’ Christmas traditions. I remember watching these on TV as a kid, as I’m sure you do too.

When we turn on the tree lights and curl up together on the couch to enjoy these classic stories and songs together, I’m brought right back to memories of my own childhood. That’s why I was excited to see these all in one Original Christmas Classics: Anniversary Collector’s Edition. Now I can play them for my family whenever we want. And now that they’re on HD Blu-ray, they look and sound better than they ever did back then!

  • I’m afraid that I’ve never seen these – heck we didn’t even have a TV until I was a teenager 🙂

    • Rudolph and Frosty and Santa are such a classic part of my Christmas it’s hard to imagine there are people who’ve never seen any of them. There’s always time to catch up though! 😉
