School’s back in session and we’re back to our regular routines. I’m kind of sad that summer’s over, but I’m excited for fall too. The air is crisp, the leaves are turning, and that means it’s time to put away my shorts and sandals and break out the cozy sweaters and boots!
As a mom to two active girls, I need to keep up with them regardless of the season. But it’s still important to me to look put together whether we’re on our way to school, playing at the neighborhood park, or running errands.
The other day Tee and I visited Walmart for some new fall fashion on a family-friendly budget, and I found this lovely chunky knit cowl neck wrap sweater by George, perfect for layering this season. Actually, Tee helped me find it!
She also helped me pick out a burgundy lace-trimmed camisole, matching burgundy blouse, and a pair of buttery soft moleskin grey jeggings to complete my fall look. She’s definitely a budding fashionista! Everything looks good and feels good, and best of all, I can keep up with my kids and look great doing it!
I love the versatility of this trendy wrap sweater. I can leave it open for warm fall days, or do it up with two oversized snaps when the temperature drops.
My sweater has deep pockets to keep my hands warm and to hold all the little “treasures” the kids hand over to me for safekeeping while we’re out: stickers, random pieces of paper, dandelions, and very special pebbles. It’s even big enough to wrap around my little girl when we’re taking a break from playtime!
