Celebrating Kay’s Birthday with My Little Pony Trixie Lulamoon

We are a long time Build-A-Bear family. Hubby and I both have Build-A-Bears that we gave each other when we first started dating. Tee sleeps with her best friend Rainbow Bear and her Disney Princess Palace Pet Treasure the coral kitten. Poor Kay was the only one without a special Build-A-Bear buddy. Knowing this, our friends at Build-A-Bear Workshop sent us a special surprise just in time for Kay’s second birthday.

When I pulled out that familiar house-shaped cardboard box, Kay knew there was something special tucked away in there. She eagerly opened up the box, and look how excited she was to find her very own Build-A-Bear friend in there!

Meet My Little Pony Trixie Lulamoon! Trixie is Build-A-Bear’s new limited edition My Little Pony unicorn pony and traveling magician. She has soft blue plush fur, huge purple eyes, a soft silvery unicorn horn, and long white and baby blue hair for her mane and tail. I don’t know how long that hair will stay silky in my house with a four-year-old and a brand new two-year-old, but it’s awfully sweet right now.

Trixie came to us dressed to the nines in her pretty purple satin magician’s cape, hat, and jeweled shoes. There’s even a little slit in her cape for her tail to fit through. Now, if they could only figure out a way to keep those darn shoes on for more than 5 minutes!

Both my girls are huge My Little Pony fans. They love watching the show and pretending to be ponies galloping around my kitchen island. Ever since Kay got to ride a real pony at a birthday party last month, she’s been especially crazy for them! She is so excited to have her own My Little Pony, and Tee’s pretty happy too now that her little sister isn’t trying to steal her Build-A-Bear friends any more.

Build-A-Bear Workshop has all your favourite My Little Ponies including Rainbow Dash, Pinky Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Twilight Sparkle. And check out the latest Build-A-Bear friends to join the crew – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and new Disney Palace Pets Teacup and Summer! If you’re lucky enough to have a store near you, I wholeheartedly recommend it as a birthday destination for any child. If not, you can always shop online. Either way, they’ll love it!

  • Her expressions are priceless!

My 2 yr old doesn’t quite know what to make of My little pony. We have some character figures here, but she will only look at them from a distance….weird.
