Last year, Tee received her very first friend from Build-A-Bear Workshop for her third birthday. I think I was almost as excited as she was when I got to introduce her to this magical place. She’d never been inside a Build-A-Bear Workshop before, and she was so excited about getting to pick a bear, stuff it, get everybody in the family to kiss the little fabric heart that goes inside, and give it a “shower” with an air nozzle. She still sleeps with her Rainbow Hugs Bear every night.
When I saw that Build-A-Bear Workshop had brought to life the royal pets from the Disney Princess Palace Pets app, I knew one little girl who would be overjoyed to give one a good home. The kind folks over there were kind enough to send us a Disney Princess Palace Pet to review and share all the deets with you! We received Treasure, Ariel’s curious and playful coral red kitten.
Tee loves grooming and dressing the Disney Princess Palace Pets on my iPad, so I knew she would go crazy over a real (well, almost) Palace Pet. Treasure arrived ready for the ball in her purple fancy dress, Disney’s Treasure accessory set, and a pair of lavender flats.
Here’s a close up of some of Treasure’s accessories. I thought the seashell necklace and tiara were a cute nod to Ariel’s aquatic origins. Tee thinks Treasure is so very pretty and huggable, and Kay keeps trying to steal her for her own. I think it’s safe to say she’s a hit!
Build-A-Bear Workshop also has Cinderella’s white puppy, Pumpkin. When guests visit Build-A-Bear Workshop to make Treasure or Pumpkin, they can participate in a special coronation ceremony and receive a personalized letter from one of the Disney Princess characters with fun facts and pet care instructions for their new furry friend. Any little girl would be thrilled to make friends with one of these Palace Pets!
