My grandmother who is passed now was my hero. She raised 3 boys alone at a time when women hardly worked outside the home. She got a job in a school caffeteria and worked hard to pay the bills. She lost older brothers in World War 11 and she lost one of her sons to illness and yet she just kept on , never complaining and always as plucky as can be. I really admired her spirit
My youngest daughter, who is now expecting her first child, is my hero. She has lived through some tough times but came out of it all a better, kinder and more compassionate person!
